The Famous Ferris-Haggarty Mine
The entire Team at Ferris-Haggarty Mining Corporation welcomes you to our website, and we appreciate your valuable time. FHMC is a young junior mining, exploration, mining, processing, quarrying, marketing, and distribution company. We have representatives in Wyoming, Colorado, Alabama, Georgia, and offices in Europe located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I'm sure we don't have to convince you that today we still have a number of people and certain groups who look at the mining industry with loathing, and rightly so in years gone by. That is not the mining industry of today.
Most companies today are working diligently to do all they can to care for the environment sustainably and ethically. Most companies do an excellent job today. These are just the facts.
Many environmentalists with their personal agendas would have you believe differently. They would rather have our jobs exported off-shore and IMPORT all of our raw materials required to produce our finished goods.
Yes, there are those few that promote environmental responsibility, and their concern seems to be mostly propaganda and lip service, not a true personal or the company's fundamental core belief. Simply by their actions and the results produced are self-evident as to their true position and intentions. Judge each industry, company, and management team based upon their actions. Don't try to punish an entire industry due to a few.
So many today want the riches our natural resources provide at any costs and do as little as possible to care for the disturbance created. However, and thankfully, that mindset is changing.
We at FHMC will be the leader in implementing much more than a great sounding marketing propaganda program. The natural resources that mining provides are essential to our way of life. We will provide these resources sustainably, ethically, and responsibly - period!
If you enjoy texting on your mobile device, one requires mining. If you want to continue to enjoy watching your color TV, one needs mining. If you enjoy playing games and working on your computer, one needs mining. If you enjoy good health by supplementing your diet with a multi-mineral supplement, one needs mining. Like gold and silver products? Of course, you do, then one needs mining! Virtually, every aspect of our lives is impacted in one form or another due directly to mining. Even keeping your food refrigerated requires materials mined from the earth. Without it, we return to the stone age.
If mining were to cease, then so too would our comfortable way of life. Responsible mining is realized by how we approach this process and how we assume the mantel of responsibility in all these activities and by exercising care for our environment's natural resources when doing so.
Can it be done? Yes, of course, it can. It is a matter of conscience. A conscious choice based upon ethical personal and corporate values to plan and then implement responsible and environmentally healthy processes and procedures. It takes a commitment of just a small portion of the vast wealth found within these resources that must be reinvested in the land that provides us all with so much. It is a matter of respect, responsibility, and deliberate action - consistently.
We at Ferris-Haggarty Mining Corporation are a new breed and agents for industry change, not business as usual. Sure, we will have to take much more of our corporate profits to rehabilitate the land and to remain proactive in our operations, but it's not just the RIGHT thing to do. It is the only thing.
You, our family, friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens that share this great natural resource that sustains us all and the place we call home; shall see our ACTIONS speaking so LOUDLY, that you won't hear a word we're saying! Of course, time will confirm our sincerity, or not. It's that simple.
However, from the CEO to the welder working on our equipment, to the mining specialist working in our mines. We are all personally committed and dedicated to sound, sustainable, safe, and environmentally accountable practices that ensure trustworthy management of our mining operations, our natural heritage, and the total reclamation procedures to follow each and every project. To leave the land and the natural environment, and the biodiversity in as good of a condition, if not better than we found it. This is our commitment to ourselves and you who share this beautiful planet we all call HOME!

We have established our mining operations with an amazingly powerful and rich foundation, first; The Famous Ferris-Haggarty Copper-Gold Mine. THE HIGHEST-GRADE COPPER MINE IN THE WORLD TODAY!
The company owns this 103+ Acre patented mining property debt free, no leases, mortgage payments or other owners to contend with. We own another Patented Gold Placer property; The Baliey Gold Mine.
Additionally, FHMC is putting under permit over 200 acres of Colorado claims being filed now. An addition 1,200 square mile are targeted to bring in under roof.
We anticipate 144 to 240 ounces of gold per DAY from each Placer Gold Operation, with three operations, planned for permitting the Winter-Spring of 2017. These deposits include proven additional reserves of high values in Thorium Oxide, Monazite, Zirconium, Ruthenium, Iridium, Lanthanum Oxide, Cerium Oxide, Yttrium Oxide, Praseodymium Oxide, Neodymium Oxide, Europium Oxide, Samarium Oxide, Terbium Oxide, Gadolinium Oxide, Dysprosium Oxide, Holmium Oxide, Erbium Oxide, Thulium Oxide, Ytterbium and other Heavy Rear Earth Elements (HREE) among PGE. We will launch with three placer operation targeted and anticipated gold production of more than 430 ounces of gold per day (details contained within this website and our business plan). Exact locations are not fully disclosed.
Those of you that may consider investment and partnering with FHMC can authorize a non-compete and non-disclosure statement; we will be pleased to share that confidential information with you. Sampling, testing, and professional mineral data analysis is disclosed herein for your review and consideration. To view certified lab sample assay reports and core sample pictures; CLICK HERE
You'll soon discover why they refer to her as the Famous Ferris-Haggarty Mine. The history of its discovery and its operation is legendary, and it's mineral content richer yet today than ever before... It is our opinion based on our finding and years of study with pre and post-mining, feasibility research, and due diligence, which is ongoing and has been performed by so many over the last 118 years is very well documented. We now know that as much as 95% of this extremely rich ore remains in-situ (in-ground).
Generally, from the start of exploration until a mine is in production usually requires 5 to 10 years! Recovery of initial investment frequently takes another 5 to 10 years, effectively, that means it is as much as 20 years of operations, and fiscal stability is required for a mining project to pay back the initial investment, or reach Breakeven!
Thankfully, that is NOT the case with FHMC. We have acquired one of the best past producers in the world. It ceased operating due to negative economic markets, improper infrastructure planning and two unfortunate disastrous fires with their ore processing facility in Encampment, Wyoming. Thus, leaving the 93% + balance of ore in-ground and unmined.
Due to the mining technics, processing, metals and mineral pricing of the late 1800's and early 1900's. Any ore grades at or below grades of 10% or 20% per ton. The ore was simply left in-ground. The old miners only mined the highest grades of ore and left the rest behind. In part, those grades below 10% to 20% are what we are after.
The FHMC is proud to be the new owners of this very rich property, both in minerals and in history. The FHM was the 27th largest copper worldwide in 1902, and the highest grade copper mine in the World!
Today, the largest copper mines in the world are fortunate to mine 1% copper. We are fortunate too that we will soon launch with what is proving to be the highest grade copper mine in the world at 6.5% to 8% copper per ton.
Mining high-grade copper at 6.5% to 8% equates to 130 to 160 pounds of Cu per ton. With massive reserves and resources, those figures are anticipated to continue to grow with additional drilling, sampling, exploration, and mining. We are truly in the right place at the right time.
The FHM is rich with gold (116,000 ounces in reserves ($147 Million) as noted in U.S. Geological Survey MRDS report #10303371 - reserve data provided by EXXON Minerals from the 1980's. Drilling since then produced evidence of far more gold reserves). Silver at 2 ozs per ton with core drill samples showing > than 321 ounces per ton in some assay reports (Black Range Minerals - 2007, see attached documentation), Cobalt and Nickel are found at economically viable grades.
Need for Minerals
The mineral and energy industries provide the essential elements of modern day life from gasoline for our cars; steel for our buildings, trucks, airplanes, and bridges; copper for wires and electrical parts; and aggregate for our roads.
Every day, every citizen, in some way, touches or uses products provided by these industries. The Mineral Information Institute estimates that the average American will use 3.7 million pounds of minerals, metals, and fuels during an average lifespan of 77.6 years—that is over 47,502 pounds of materials every year for every American.
Cobalt, Lithium, Nickel, in part, are some of the primary materials in energy storage systems such as cells phones, EV, computers and much more. Damage is only increasing. FHMC is planning for these needs and other global requirements.
The mineral and energy industries in Colorado and Wyoming produce a wide variety of materials essential to our daily lives; coal provides electricity, natural gas heats our homes, molybdenum hardens our steel. Sand and gravel are necessary for our homes, offices, roads, driveways, and many other uses. Alternative energy technologies require many exotic minerals, and some ordinary ones, most of which have to be imported.
This is a trend that FHMC will modify and impact considerably. We intend on ramping production up expeditiously, and this includes our HREE production with planned JV in-house processing within 36 months.
